About Daniel

Daniel is a registered counsellor and psychotherapist, providing counselling and psychotherapy. He currently serves clients in private practices and community clinics in the Greater Sydney area.

He works from a person-centered foundation that focuses on listening to and following the client’s innate directions. And he also draws upon other approaches such as cognitive-behavioural (working with one’s thoughts and behaviours) and psychodynamic (considering the past & relationships) as they are helpful.

Following a Bachelor’s at Johns Hopkins University and a stint in the corporate world in the United States and Asia, Daniel received his Master’s in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Western Sydney University. His graduate training culminated with his placement at Dune Health, a private clinic in Western Sydney.

Previously, Daniel has supported Australians in crisis with Lifeline and worked with incarcerated individuals with mental health conditions. Daniel has additionally conducted research with Dr. Tinashe Dune to improve mental healthcare for culturally diverse populations in Australia.

He is passionate about working with Asian-Australians, individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds, and coaching ADHD clients.

Daniel is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.
